To access your editing and organizing options, start in your photo library. On the right, in the photo toolbar, you'll see 'edit & organize.' Click 'edit & organize' to open a menu of options.

• add borders
• rotate and flip
• caption photos
• fix & enhance
• rearrange
• move photos
• copy photos
• delete photos
• remove albums

If your friend has restricted your access to this album, the 'edit & organize' features do not appear at all. However, a link to 'remove album' is available directly on the toolbar.

• Upload digital photos
  When you click on “upload photos” (from your homepage or photo library), you will first need to choose the destination album for your uploaded photos.

  On the page that appears, you’ll see a new album (in yellow). If you’d like to upload to this album, fill in a title, select the date using the drop-down menus, and (if you like) write a description. Then click “upload to this album.” We'll add this new album to your account after you complete your upload.

  If you’d like to upload to an existing album, click “choose another album” near the bottom of the page.

• Move photos from an existing album to a new album.
  To move photos from an existing album to a new album, click on “edit & organize” in the toolbar, and then click “move photos.”

  After you choose the photos you want to move, you'll be asked to choose the album into which you want to move them. Click on the yellow (new) album to select it, and type a name into the text box below it. When you click on “move photos,” we'll create a new album containing the photos you moved.

• Copy photos to a new album.
  To copy photos from an existing album to a new album click on “edit & organize” in the toolbar and then click “copy photos.”

  After you choose the photos to copy, you'll be asked to choose an album into which you want to copy them. Click on the yellow (new) album to select it, and type a name into the text box below it. When you click on “copy photos,” we'll create a new album containing copies of the photos you selected.

1. Go to your photo library, and click on the album you'd like to rename.
2. While in the album view, click 'edit & organize' in the blue toolbar to the right.
3. Then click "rename album," below "edit & organize."
4. A new window containing a text field will pop up. Type a new name for your album into the box and click "OK."
5. To return to your album without changing the album name, click on "cancel."

Overview

With album designs, you can add decorative backgrounds to your albums. Album designs add personality to your albums and are a really nice touch when sharing your online photos with friends. If you add an album design, that design will even appear in the email that your friends receive when you share the album with them.

Adding an album design doesn't alter your photos in any way, but you should keep in mind that any designs you choose will be seen by friends with whom you share the album. You can cancel an album design at any time.

Step 1: Choose your album
From your 'photo library' page, click on 'add album designs' under 'edit & enhance,' select the album you'd like to add a design to, and then click 'choose this album'. Or, you can click on 'add album designs' under 'edit & enhance' from an album view or photo view.

Step 2: Choose your album design
We offer album designs in a variety of categories:

Click on a category tab on the right side of the page under 'more styles'. Then click on an album design to preview it on your album. Keep clicking on the border designs until you find one that you like. To remove a border from your photo, click the 'remove design' link near the bottom of the page.

Once you've finalized the design for your album, click the 'done adding design' button.

This will save the design changes you made to your album. You can always select this album again to choose a different design or delete a design entirely.

To exit the add album design process without making any changes to your album, click the 'cancel' button at anytime.

After adding designs to your albums, you can share your new designed album with friends. Just click the 'share...' button to get started. Your friends will see the background you've chosen in the share invite email that is sent to them as well as when they view the album.

Is there a cost for adding designs to my albums?
Album designs are absolutely free. There is no charge for using album designs or for sharing them with friends. And like our everyday storage, there is no limit to the number of designed albums you can store in your Snapfish account.

Can I change or remove a design from an album?
Yes. Simply click on the 'add album designs' link from the album you'd like to alter, and select a different design or use the 'remove design' link to remove the design completely.

When I share designed albums, do my friends see the design?
Yes! Your designed album will appear the same to your friends as it does to you. We even customize the email we send to your friends when you invite them to view your album to match the album! Please note that your friends cannot change your design or any aspect of your shared album(s). As the owner, you are the only one permitted to make changes to your albums.

NOTE: Occasionally, the photos in a new album of film photos may all be upside down. This is an artifact of the scanning process that is based on how your camera loads and shoots film. Some cameras load film in right-side up; others load film in upside down. You will see the same orientation on every roll from that particular camera. This problem is easy to correct by following the 'How to Rotate Multiple Photos' instructions below.

1. Start by viewing the photo you want to rotate. (To view a single photo, just click on one of your albums in your photo library, and then click on the photo.)
2. Click on "edit & organize" in the toolbar on the right side of the page, and then click on the "rotate and flip" link.
3. The top of the photo is marked with a symbol, and each side with a symbol.
4. Click on the on the side of the photo that you want to be on top. The symbol will change to .
5. Click on the yellow "rotate photo" button to complete the rotate process.

1. In your photo library, click on one of your albums to view it.
2. Click on “edit & organize” in the toolbar on the right side of the page, and then click “rotate and flip” in the menu that opens up beneath it.
3. If every photo is upside down, click on the 'set all photos to flip' link above the top left photo in the album. Then click “rotate photos” at the top of the page.
4. If you would like to rotate some but not all of the photos, complete the following steps for each photo you want to rotate:
1. The top of each photo is marked with a filled-in silhouette and reads “this side up.” Each side is marked with a dotted-line silhouette and reads “click to make this side up.”
2. Click on the side of the photo that you want to be the top. The silhouette will fill in.
5. When you have finished indicating the proper orientation for each photo, click “rotate photos” at the top of the page.
6. If you don’t want to rotate any photos, click “cancel” to return to your album.

You cannot change the captions in friends' albums; only the owner of the album can create new captions.

1. Start by viewing the photo you want to caption in the enlarged view. (To view a single photo, just click on one of your albums in your photo library, and then click on the photo.)
2. Click on "edit & organize" in the toolbar on the right side of the page, and then click on the 'caption' link.
3. You'll see your photo with a text box next to it containing the existing caption. Type your new caption inside this box. Your caption can be up to 248 characters long. If your caption is longer than the caption box, use the scrollbar on the right side of the box to read what you've typed.
4. Click on the yellow "change caption" button to save your new caption.

1. In your photo library, click on one of your albums to view it.
2. Click on 'edit & organize' in the toolbar on the right side of the page, and then click on the 'caption photos' link.
3. To the right of each photo you'll see a box containing the current caption. Type a new caption, up to 248 characters long, over each one you'd like to change. If your caption is longer than the caption box, use the scrollbar on the right side of the box to read what you've typed.
4. When you're done with one caption, go on to the next one. You can write the captions in any order you choose.
5. To save your changes, click on the yellow 'change captions' button. Click on the gray 'cancel' button to return to your photo without changing the caption.

If you use the Internet Explorer (IE) browser, you can 'fix & enhance' your photos. 'Fix & enhance' options include:

• Cropping your photos
• Reducing red-eye
• Auto-correcting your photos
• Filling the flash in your photos
• Adding fun tints and borders
• And more

1. Log in to your account and click on "your account" at the top right of the homepage.
2. On your account page, click on the "edit upload preferences" button.
3. Click the circle next to "Do not rotate or remove red-eye during upload."
4. Click the "update info" button.

Sort Your Albums

When you click the “photos” tab, you’ll see your most recently uploaded and viewed albums. There are several other ways to sort your albums.

• By Date
  On the “photos” page, click “your albums” in the toolbar on the left. Then click on a year and/or a month to view the albums that you uploaded during that time period.

• By Title
  On the “photos” page, click “your albums” in the toolbar on the left. Then click “view A-Z” to sort your albums alphabetically by title.

• By All
  On the “photos” page, click “your albums” in the toolbar on the left. Then click “view all” to view all of your albums at once. The most recently uploaded albums will appear at the top of the page, with the oldest albums at the bottom.

When you click the “photos” tab, you’ll see your most recently uploaded and viewed albums. To view your friends’ albums, click “friends’ albums” in the toolbar on the left. Using the menu that opens up below, you can sort the albums in one of several ways:

• By Date
  Then click on a year and/or a month to view the albums that your friends shared during that time period.


• By Friend
  Then click “view by friends” to sort the albums by friend.


• By All
  Click “view all” to view all of your friends’ shared albums at once. The most recently shared albums will appear at the top of the page, with the oldest shared albums at the bottom.

Whenever you create a calendar or photobook, you can save your work – either to return to it later, share it with friends, or use it in another gift order. To view your saved projects, follow these steps:

1. Click the “photos” tab to go to your photo library.
2. Click “projects” in the toolbar to the left.
3. Beneath “projects,” you will see a menu offering you two options. Click “your projects” to view your projects. From there, you’ll be able to work on the projects, share them, or use them in a new order.

Note: You can also view projects that your friends have shared with you, by clicking “friends’ projects” beneath “projects” in the left toolbar. You can’t edit friends’ projects, but you can view them and order them for yourself.

As you view the photos in your albums (or in friends’ albums), you can tag individual photos as favourites.

When you tag a photo as a favourite, we place a copy of that photo in your “favourites” album. Then, when you’re ready to order a gift, create a calendar, or create a photobook, your favourites are easily accessible.

It’s probably easiest to tag photos whenever you’re first looking at your newly uploaded albums. But you can also go back through your albums and tag favourites that way.

To tag a photo as a favourite, simply navigate to that photo’s individual photo view page. Then click “make this photo a favourite” at the bottom left of the photo.

To view your favourites, click the “photos” tab to go to your photo library. Then click “your favourites” in the toolbar to the left.

1. From your photo library, click on the album you'd like to rearrange.
2. While in the album view, click on “edit & organize” in the toolbar on the right side of the page. Then click on the “rearrange” link.
3. At the top of the page, you’ll see 3 global options:
   • Click “reverse all” to place the last photo first and the first photo last (and switch all those in between). Then click “save arrangement.”
   • Click “arrange photos A-Z” to arrange the photos in alphabetical order (by caption). Then click “save arrangement.”
   • Click “start over” allows you to start again, if you’ve made mistakes.
4. You can also move each individual photo to a new place, following these instructions:
5. Move your mouse until the cursor is positioned over a photo in the album, then left-click and hold the button down.
6. While holding down the left mouse-button, drag the photo to the symbol in the target position. For example, if you'd like the third photo in the album to move to the first position, click and drag the third photo to the on the left of the first photo.
7. Once the photo is over the symbol, release the mouse button. Your photo will then settle into its new position.
8. Repeat this process for as many photos as you want to rearrange.
9. Click on the yellow “save arrangement” button when you're done.
10. To return to your photos without rearranging them, click the “cancel” button.

1. From your photo library, click on the album you'd like to rearrange.
2. From your album view, click on "edit & organize" in the toolbar on the right side of the page. Then click on the 'rearrange' link.
3. Next to each photo you'll see a box with a number in it corresponding to the position of that photo in the album.
4. Type a new number into the box next to each photo you'd like to place in a different position.
5. When you're done, click on the yellow "rearrange photos" button to put your photos in the order you specified.
6. To return to your photos without rearranging them, click the "cancel" button.

You can move photos among any of your own albums. Keep in mind that if you move photos into or out of an album you've shared, your friends will see the updated version of the album.

To move photos between albums, complete the following steps:

1. From your photo library, click 'edit & organize' in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
2. Click 'move photos' below 'edit & organize.'
3. Click on the album you'd like to move photos from. Then click on the yellow 'open this album' button.
4. Click on each photo you'd like to move out of this album. Then click on the yellow 'choose these photos' button.
5. Click on the album into which you'd like to move the photos. To move photos into a new album, click on the yellow album and type a name for the album into the box underneath it.
6. Click on the yellow 'move photos' button.
7. The photos you selected will be moved out of the original album and into the destination album.

• If you change your mind at any time during the moving process, just click the gray 'cancel' button, and you'll return to your photos without moving any photos.
• You can move photos into and out of your own albums, but not your friends' albums. Only the album owner can edit the contents of an album. If you move all the photos out of an album, the resulting empty album will be removed from your account.

Note:

• You may copy photos from a friend's album (unless the album is restricted) into your own album, but you can't copy photos into a friend's album.
• If you copy photos into an album that you've shared, the friends you've shared the album with will see the copied photos.

Copying Step-by-Step

1. From your photo library, click on 'edit & organize' in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
2. Then click on the 'copy' link below 'edit & organize.'
3. Click on the album you'd like to copy photos from. Then click on the yellow 'open this album' button.
4. Click on each photo you'd like to copy from this album. Then click on the yellow 'choose these photos' button.
5. Click on the album into which you'd like to copy these photos. To create a new album, click on the yellow album, and type in a new album title in the text box underneath the album. Then click on the yellow 'copy photo(s)' button.

At any time during the process, you can click on the 'cancel' button to return to your photos without copying.

Once you delete photos, they're gone from your Snapfish account. However, if you have a copy of the photo on your computer, deleting the photo from your Snapfish account will not delete it from your hard drive.

Note: Once a photo is deleted, we cannot restore it to your account.

1. Start by viewing the photo you want to delete. (To view a single photo, just click on one of your albums in your photo library, and then click on the photo.)
2. Click on 'edit & organize' in the toolbar on the right side of the page,
3. Then click on the 'delete photo' link.
4. A small window will pop up asking, "Are you sure you want to delete this picture?"
5. Click 'Yes' to confirm that you want it to be deleted, or 'No' if you've changed your mind.

How to Delete Multiple Photos Within an Album

1. From your photo library, click on the album that contains the photos you want to delete.
2. Click on 'edit & organize' in the toolbar on the right side of the page.
3. Then click on the 'delete photos' link.
4. Click on each photo you want to delete.

   Tip: If you want to delete all the photos in the album, you can click on the 'select all' link at the top of the page to check all the boxes at once.

5. Click on the yellow 'delete these photos' button.

Note: If you delete every photo in an album, the empty album will be removed from your account. A pop-up confirmation window will appear if this is about to happen.

If you remove one of your own albums, that album (and all of the photos within it) will be gone from your Snapfish account. If you have copies of these your photos on your computer, removing an album from Snapfish does not delete these photo files from your hard drive.

Important: Please note that once an album is removed, we cannot restore it to your account.

1. From your photo library, click on 'edit & organize' in the blue toolbar on the right side of the page.
2. Then click on the 'remove album(s)' link.
3. Click on each album you want to remove.
4. Then click on the yellow 'remove albums' button.
5. A confirmation pop-up window will appear that lists the albums you've selected. Click on the 'remove albums' button to remove these albums.

Albums you own are blue (or, if newly created, yellow) and appear under the heading 'your albums' in your photo library. Your albums are created when you send us film to develop, or when you create an album as a destination for photos you upload, move, or copy.
